Great Resources For Pharmacy Students
Reallifepharmacology.com - Great resource that has a free top 200 study reference that you can download. Great for rotations! Besides that, I also listen to the podcast which is really useful because the host, a clinical pharmacist explains the drug in a nice and short format to help learn about the drug. This is like the SparkNotes for drugs and having an actual health care professional talk about the use cases of each drug is an invaluable resource.
Tldrpharmacy.com - Great resource for learning hacks on how to actually use information. From how to actually do journal clubs to writing a resume.
Pharmguides.com - A quick place to look for the most updated guidelines. Look no further. The author does a great job keeping this site updated so do your part and send a quick thank you message. Also a cool personality that I suggest you follow on instagram(@pharmguides).
Meded101.com - Great blog for any healthcare professional that wants to get updated information on disease states and new clinical practice guidelines.
Ashp.com - Sign up for a free membership to learn about all the different roles a pharmacist can play in a health system. Also good to look at residencies and will give you a discount if you decide to attend Midyear.
Industrypharmacist.org - Good resource for learning about the different roles that are available in industry pharmacy. They also post some internship opportunities as well as job opportunities.
Pharmacistforme.org - Great website to learn some basic responsibilities of pharmacists in a wide variety of fields. Not only do they have traditional roles of pharmacists but they also have some interesting non-traditional pharmacists in there. Not to mention some invaluable advice.
YouTube.com - I like to learn through watching videos so some pharmacy videos I would recommend are Osmosis, Speed Pharmacology, Armando Hasudungan, Khanacademymedicine.
